WTAHEC’s mission is to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare services through the provision of support services for health professionals and promotion of health and educational interventions for communities in West Tennessee.
Toward this mission, WTAHEC provides education and training programs for health professionals, students, faculty and consumers. Through partnerships with local and regional health departments, community health clinics, school systems, consumers, and preventive health and wellness departments of universities, colleges and hospitals, WTAHEC successfully implements programs that improve healthcare delivery in underserved communities.
